General Description
The integration between the Magaya CRM and Magaya Supply Chain syncs the below records:
Lead to Quote
Account to Customer
Contact to Contact
Opportunity to Quote
This change would add a sync between the two systems so that the Forwarding Agents, found in the Forwarding Agent list of Magaya Supply Chain, would sync to the Account entity of the Magaya CRM.
Current Functionality
Currently the CRM integration to Supply Chain syncs Accounts as Customers and Contacts as Contacts. If a quote is generated in Supply Chain for a Forwarding Agent, the Magaya RM processes would, in the conversion of the records, create a Customer in the Magaya Supply Chain Database for the Forwarding Agent information in either the Magaya CRM Lead or Account entities.
Future Functionality
Add a new Account Type to the Magaya CRM of "Forwarding Agent" and sync all records of this Account type to the Forwarding Agent list in Magaya Supply Chain. Treat them as an Account throughout the CRM to leverage the existing Lead to Opportunity CRM workflow and Supply Chain integration which remains consistant for the Forwarding Agents.
CRM Changes needed:
Add an Account type for "Forwarding Agent" to the CRM
Current Account Type options are:
Propect
Customer
Client
Organization
Agent
Franchisee
Add a process, to the Magaya CRM Administrator portal that will allow Implementation to import in the list of Forwarding Agents to the customer's CRM as they do the Customers today.
This option needs to work in coordination with the current customer import using an Supply Chain column to identify Customer vs Forwarding Agent or have a separate import function which would be a secondary setup task in the Supply Chain record population into the customer's CRM in the implementation process.
These records should add as Accounts where type is "Forwarding Agent"
The accounts should be able to be treated as all other accounts in the Lead and Opportunity conversion processes
This should create the same Quotes as today but link to the Forwarding Agent and not the Customer on conversion
All Accounts created by the CRM's automated processes should set the Account Type to "Forwarding Agent" automatically.
Forwarding Agents added to Supply Chain quotes which have been marked Is Complete, should create CRM Accounts where the type is "Forwarding Agent"
All CRM Account's created manually or part of the Lead conversion should create a Forwarding Agent in the customer's Magaya Supply Chain and not a Customer.
This may necessetate a new option in the Lead or Lead conversion screens:
Add an option to determine "Account Type" in the creation via the Lead conversion:
