General Description
The available fields and their location within the Magaya CRM currently cannot be modified outside of adding custom fields. This change would modify the Setup screens to allow Organizational Administrators the ability to control the visiblity and labeling of standard fields and sections within the system.
Current Functionality
Existing standard fields cannot be modified in any way, but Organizational Administrators can add new fields to meet their business needs. For more information about additional fields, please see Magaya CRM: Organization Admin Setup in the Magaya Knowledge Base.
Future Functionality
A new tab will be added to each section of the Magaya CRM Setup to control the standard fields within each CRM entity titled STANDARD FIELDS. Within this section will be a list of each category within each CRM entity and a list of the fields found within. Each category will display the tab name of the location of the field along with the edit icon and a list of each field below it. Example of the additional fields setup for Contacts:
Controls within this section will include:
Clicking on the pen icon will allow users to change the order of fields within the section
Clicking each field will open a version of the Edit Additional Fields screen currently found in the Additional Fields tab. This new screen will be titled EDIT STANDARD FIELDS and include options for:
Modifying the displayed label of the field
Setting the fields visibility to hide or show the field within the form
Move the field to another Category within the same entity.
