Customer Defined Opportunity Types

General Description

Provide customers with the ability to programmatically define the type of Opportunity created by source so that new Opportunities from Supply Chain can be set to something other than Quote.

Current Functionality

When generating opportunities within the Magaya CRM, users with Organizational Admin security can create individual types of opportunities which each can have their own set of Criteria, Stages and Scoring. When all users go to create a new Opportunity in the Magaya CRM, they can select which type of record to create and thus which stages and criteria are relevant to ths Opportunity:

But all new records generated from Magaya Supply Chain and sent to the Magaya CRM are set to the type "Quote" as defined in the Administrative Setup.

Future Functionality

Add controls to the CRM's Setup API area to allow a user with CRM Organizational Admin authority the ability to select an existing Opportunity Type for all opportunities generated from the integration with a single Magaya Supply Chain.

The Opportunity Type must exist within the customer's Opportunity Types list in the CRM Setup:


And the option will be selected from the Organizaiton API settings to correspond to a single Magaya Supply Chain instance:
