BOL is the Ocean Freight term for Bill of Lading.
AWB is the Air Freight term for Bill of Lading.
BOL is the Ground Freight term for Bill of Lading.
These are mode specific terms meaning the same and act as a basis the same, however, the air freight industry prefers to stick to their desired labels for charges.
AWB as a basis should be replaced with AWB when Air is the selected as the Mode.
