We have identified an issue resulting in more work and more potential for errors.
We have shipments booked on separate houses on same master as is typical in imports. We set up files in Magaya this way as well of course.
We have noticed though that there is no House bill field whether you are on HBL level or not. It just says Bill of Lading with no differentiating field for House or master. This seems like it would be standard as it is with other competing management systems.
If we have HBL in this field on HBL level in Magaya , we send over to acelynk when creating ISF it sends just the HBL. Then we have to manually add the master Bl to the ISF. That adds it to the second line on ISF rather than Master on top and house on bottom.
This poses an issue when we go to create a customs entry off the ISF because it requires that we have the MBL on top and HBL on bottom. So , then we have to go fix the ISF manually is it gets this far. OR we are having to fix it when we are filing ISF.
Either way this is causing more work when seems that a system like this should simply have relevant fields in the HBL level: House BL and MBL differentiated so we don’t have to go through this mess each time and potentially cause errors to get through.
Can this be urgently addressed?
