Business Need
Customers that use both Magaya and DFP currently see the "Creation Date" in DFP reflecting the date when the shipment was received by DFP, rather than the original creation date in Magaya. This creates confusion because users expect the date displayed in DFP to match the shipment creation date they see in Magaya.
Proposed Enhancement
Add a new field in DFP to display the original shipment creation date from Magaya, while preserving the current DFP received date.
Suggested options:
Show two separate dates:
Magaya Creation Date (original shipment creation date)
DFP Received Date (date the shipment was received by DFP)
OR
Allow administrators to configure which date is displayed as the primary creation date.
Benefits
Eliminates confusion for customers using both Magaya and DFP.
Improves shipment traceability across platforms.
Reduces support inquiries related to date discrepancies.
Provides greater visibility into the shipment lifecycle from creation to processing.
Enhances data consistency between Magaya and DFP.
Use Case
A shipment is created in Magaya on August 1st and reaches DFP on August 5th. Currently, DFP displays August 5th as the creation date, which may lead customers to believe that the shipment was created on that date. Displaying both dates would provide complete visibility and prevent misunderstandings.
