General Description:
This is a much needed update to the Quote Form Builder (QFB) to allow users to set their page format to either Portrait View or Landscape View. Often, users need to add more columns of information than the current format allows or can show appropriately and neatly.
Current Behavior:
Only Portrait View is available to users. There are numerous complaints that font size must be reduced, often way too small to read, to show quote information in a clean format.
Technical Aspects to Consider:
Default for all existing Quote Forms will be Portrait.
In the Format & Output Screen, Email and Download options will follow the Quote Form Setting for Portrait or Landscape view.
Future Proposal:
Adding two Radio Buttons to the "Form Settings" section. One for "Portrait View" and one for "Landscape View". It would also help, like most products have, is the relevant icon to go with the words. This gives the user a little better idea of what to expect.
Portrait View
When the radio button is selected, the form should default to collapse to the left most limit - referencing the arrows below the grid.
Landscape View
When the radio button is selected, the form should default to expand to the right most limit - referencing the arrows below the grid.
