Good morning Team,
Currently, Acelynk recommends Section 122/232 Chapter 99 tariffs when saving a tariff line where 9801.00.8500 is the general tariff. These additional trade regulations do not apply to Chapter 98 codes as per CBP guidance in CSMS # 67844987 - Imposing Temporary Section 122 Duties & CSMS # 68253075 - GUIDANCE: Section 232 Duties on Imports of Aluminum, Steel, and Copper (attached for reference)
We have a big client who does Canadian TIB returns and uses this tariff number reporting on all entries, some of which are up to 15-20 lines in length, and up to 30 entries at a time. It would save accumulated hours of time not having to click 'Cancel' on the Section 122/232 recommendations on each tariff line where 9801.00 is the general tariff code.
Please see attached for a sample. Hope this can be implemented.
